How I Work

I strongly believe that every person is unique and, therefore, my approach is always individualized. My focus is directed toward developing with you the most effective ways to address your needs and goals, as well as exploring circumstances, past and present, that could be interfering with the achievement of these goals.

My approach is “eclectic” which simply means that, after many years of experience and considerable training, I am able to draw on a variety of approaches.  These include psychodynamic, family systems, and cognitive therapy.

I will offer you a warm, comfortable and non-judgmental environment for this process. I am interactive and strive to  find that balance between listening and giving helpful feedback.
